Summer is the perfect time to enjoy Brown County and all it has to offer. Many people are familiar with Brown County State Park - and its breath-taking views! But not everyone is aware of the huge indoor Water Park and Aquatic Center at the Abe Martin Lodge in the State Park. Down the road, closer to Nashville, there's the Poolside Saturday Night Cookouts at the Brown County Inn. In addition to the swimming pool, there's family fun in the form of miniature golf, game room, playground, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts.
Another fascinating attraction is the Pioneer Village and Museum, located in downtown Nashville beside the old Log Jail. The Pioneer Village provides spinning and weaving demonstrations every Saturday and Sunday. It's full of historical facts about Nashville and Brown County, too!
